The winery was founded in the late 19th century by P.M Trubetskoi on the lands of the “Kozatske” estate in Kherson region. In Soviet times, legendary vintage wines, “Oksamyt Ukrainy”, “Perlyna Stepu” and “Naddnipryanske” appeared, which became the hallmark of Ukrainian winemaking.
Since early 2000s, the company has been undergoing a global redevelopment. New vineyards have been planted, the latest equipment from “Della Toffola” has been installed, the historic building of the winery and wine cellars was restored.
Our vineyards, covering an area of 200 ha, are located on the slopes of the Dnipro and exposed south-eastward. The grapes are harvested by hand only.
